Open habitats, open woodland, grassland, scrub, heathland and gardens.
Similar to White-point but larger and plainer with a tear shaped elliptical mark on forewing.
The male of this and White-point both have a black blotch on abdomen.Recorded in 67 (91%) of 74 10k Squares.
